CENOTE AZUL
The real paradise in Bacalar lagoon will surprise you. This natural wonder is located 45 km (40 min. drive) from Gobal Costa Maya Beach Club. Cenote Azul is one of the most beautiful and largest cenotes in the area, in the south of Quintana Roo state. It has a special place in Gobal Entertainment Tour program because it is very close to Costa Maya. The open structure of the cenote stands out as a large natural pool with crystal clear and very soft water.
It is a paradise for snorkeling, diving, swimming and sailing. Located outdoors it can be seen from the road. The view of the cenote is incredible as it is surrounded by jungle and unique flora. There is a family restaurant right at the entrance. You will feel the enchanting atmosphere of this place as soon as you enter it!

The heart-shaped cenote is located near Tulum, one of the most visited by tourists and renowned for its famous archaeological zone. The Heart of Paradise Cenote is 100% natural formation. It is located 7 kilometers from Tulum, which is one hour and 45 min. drive from Gobal Costa Maya Beach Club.
It is not man-made, as many might think. This beautiful cenote is completely natural and it took its shape due to the erosion of soil and minerals. The heart-shaped cenote was very important to Mayan culture and they held religious ceremonies here.
The Maya had a strong connection with the cenotes, as they were their source of water, and the entrance to the underworld. Thus, the Corazón del Paraiso cenote (The Heart of Paradise) is believed to have been a ceremonial center.

BANCO CHINCHORRO
Banco Chinchorro Atoll is the most amazing and incomparably beautiful diving site of the Yucatan Peninsula. The softest coral formations are found here. This almost untouched diver’s paradise is a World Heritage Site that located an hour and a half from the coast of Mahahual. It is the largest coral reef in the Caribbean.
This largest reef covers 800 sq. km. This specially protected area is a biosphere reserve. The fauna of these places attract professional divers and amateurs: large lobsters, barracudas, green moray eels, nurse sharks, etc. Thanks to the lagoons, you can see some crocodiles here.
Dive in and be part of the legendary place (Pirates of the Caribbean).There are many 16th century shipwrecks in the eastern part, which still keep their secrets. The atoll has several dive sites, so we recommend contacting specialized companies to ensure your experience is safe.

Just 10 minutes from Gobal Costa Maya complex, there is a theme park that will charge the whole family with fun and adrenaline. The rides look like the expeditions into the jungle of the 40s. One of them is Rio del Jaguar, a slow flowing magical river that allows you to enjoy the sounds of nature. The feathered serpent god, whom the ancient Mayans called Kukulkun, challenges you to fly over the jungle with many twists and turns like a roller coaster. Several slides for children and adults are to take you through the jungle and through the entire park.

One of the Seven Wonders of the World since 2007, Chichen Itza is considered to be the most famous Mayan city in the world. In 1988, UNESCO listed Chichen Itza as World Cultural Heritage site. The pyramid of Kukulkan was built so that on March 21, when the sun rises, its rays illuminate the steps of the pyramid so that one can see the shadow of the Feathered Serpent (Kukulcan) moving down from above. It is a world famous phenomenon, designed and built by the Maya.
